Olympic snowboarders and skiers disqualified for PFAS on their equipment

PFAS can be added to the wax on skis and snowboards to reduce friction and increase speed. This ‘performance enhancing’ is not allowed in major competitions, and the Olympics is on the lookout for it! Apparently equipment has been tested for this in the past but this is the first time I’ve heard of it! Very interesting.
